Quest Text

Bestowal dialogue ' <name>, while those of faint hearts have departed, I feel we must do something for the men who remain. They have lost so much already, and this may be our last true chance to bolster their spirits before we move into the Enemy's territory. 'I would have you speak with Lord Golasgil. With so few Lords of Gondor left, I will need him to bear more of the burden of leadership. I know he will show a brave face in front of his men if I ask it of him.' Background Aragorn wishes to do something to lift the spirits of the remaining soldiers. Objective 1 Talk to Golasgil Golasgil can be found in the Camp of the Host, on the northern edge of North Ithilien. Lord Aragorn has asked you to talk to Golasgil. Golasgil: 'Lord Elessar has asked me to do something for the men? I will do my best, if my king wishes it. This would have been a task better suited to someone like Forlong, but alas, it falls to me. 'He is not mistaken. Gondor has lost much already, but we all know that if we do not act now, we will loose everything. What would Forlong have done? 'I have an idea. Gather the men from around the camp, and some kegs of ale. Then, meet me back here. We will celebrate one last time before we march bravely into the Enemy's maw.' Objective 2 Collect kegs of ale (0/8) Gather soldiers (0/8) You can find soldiers and kegs in the Camp of the Host, on the northern edge of North Ithilien. Golasgil has asked you to gather soldiers and Kegs of Ale. Objective 3 Talk to Golasgil Golasgil can be found in the Camp of the Host, on the northern edge of North Ithilien. You should speak with Golasgil and tell him the kegs and soldiers have been gathered. Golasgil: 'Thank you, <name>. The men and ale are gathered. Here goes nothing.' Golasgil says, "Wish me luck, friend." Golasgil says, "Men, I have gathered you here for a toast. Gondor has lost many brave souls, and we must honour them. Not with sorrow, but with joy."
